From the Flight Line to the Print Bed
Before House of Whimsy, we spent our careers keeping F/A-18s in the fight. Anthony is a disabled Marine Corps veteran who worked ordnance systems on the F/A-18 Hornet. Jamie is a disabled Navy veteran who served as an AT (Aviation Electronics Technician) on the F/A-18 Super Hornet. It was precise, high-stakes, occasionally very loud work — and we loved it.
These days we trade jet fuel for filament. We fell hard for 3D printing the moment we realized what it actually is: a machine that turns an idea into something real, useful, and — if you do it right — a little magical. Somewhere between building genuinely useful things and watching someone's face light up when a print comes off the bed exactly like they imagined, we found our new mission.
